Description: Raptor Falls Mini Golf & Ice Cream is a mini golf course with life-sized moving dinosaurs. The client needed to establish a website presence, new company branding, and integrate an online gift card e-commerce platform. The main focus was to create a simple, effective, and user friendly online presence. The website was designed to showcase Raptor Falls with consistency, defined branding, and SEO best practices.

Branding

Color Psychology

Orange: Energy, Happiness, Vitality.

Green: New Beginnings, Abundance, Nature.

The original Raptor Falls website used a forest green and light blue color scheme. While they were beautiful colors, they did not convey the feeling of an energetic, family fun, Dinosaur mini-golf business. The client wanted new company branding for the website to fit their vibe more - with the exception of the logo.

I chose these colors because the orange conveys enthusiasm and excitement without being overpowering while the teal - green balances the orange with peace, tranquility, and nature.

The Final Product

Designed to be mobile-first with the audience in mind, the website for Raptor Falls included a photo gallery synched with social media, an e-commerce page for gift card purchases, an interactive map for directions, and before and after construction photos.

Within six months of launch, Raptor Falls saw a 400% increase in organic site traffic. The seamless e-commerce section of the website resulted in increased revenue from online sales and improved operations efficiency for the client.
